Superwhisper auto-paste not working on Mac with ⌥ Space — conflict with ChatGPT Mini

If Superwhisper transcribes correctly and copies the result to the clipboard, but doesn’t automatically paste it into the active text field, check your ChatGPT Mac app shortcut. In my case, both Superwhisper Toggle Recording and ChatGPT Mini (“Show or hide Mini”) were assigned to ⌥ Space (Option + Space). When starting Superwhisper, ChatGPT Mini intercepted the shortcut and stole the keyboard focus. Superwhisper still recorded and transcribed correctly, but could no longer paste the result into the original text field. Fix: In the ChatGPT Mac app settings, find “Show or hide Mini” and either delete its ⌥ Space shortcut or assign another one. Then keep ⌥ Space for Superwhisper. Auto-paste immediately works again. Hopefully this saves someone else a lot of troubleshooting! 😅
