Keyboard Shortcut Integration – on iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard

1. Problem: When using an iPad Pro (M4) attached to Apple’s Magic Keyboard, switching to SuperWhisper for voice dictation is cumbersome. I must manually show the on-screen keyboard and tap the globe icon to select SuperWhisper. When using a physical keyboard, there’s no direct shortcut to start dictation. 2. Desired Solution: I would like a dedicated keyboard shortcut (or a customizable hotkey) that instantly activates SuperWhisper dictation, bypassing the need to open the on-screen keyboard. Ideally, pressing a shortcut (like Cmd + Shift + a key) would trigger SuperWhisper recording directly. 3. Steps to Reproduce: Attach an iPad Pro (M4) to Apple’s Magic Keyboard. Open any app (e.g., Telegram) where text input is needed. Attempt to switch from typing to SuperWhisper dictation. Currently, you must show the on-screen keyboard and manually select SuperWhisper. 4. Pain Level: This interrupts workflow significantly. Each switch involves multiple taps, slowing down fast-paced typing and dictation workflows. A direct shortcut would drastically improve usability.
