Feature Suggestions

Dear SuperWhisper Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to share a few feature suggestions that I believe could further improve the usability and versatility of your excellent app. Firstly, I would like to propose enhancements to the Simulate Keypress feature. It would be incredibly helpful if users could customize the delay between keypresses, as this would allow for greater flexibility in different environments or application workflows. Additionally, the option to introduce randomized delays between keypresses would help mimic more natural human typing patterns, which could be especially beneficial for automation or accessibility use cases. Also, an option to allow pasting in pure text that would be able to be typed in would be the cherry on top(like an autotyper), for totally legit usage :) Secondly, I’d like to suggest the introduction of an AI Assistant Mode. The idea would be for SuperWhisper to actively listen for spoken prompts or context, and then intelligently trigger corresponding actions based on recognized intent. This could potentially transform the app into a voice-controlled assistant, capable of performing contextual tasks such as opening apps, typing commands, or interacting with on-screen elements—similar to a lightweight AI agent. Lastly, I would like to suggest an option for the mini recorder on macbooks with a notch to utilize the notch space, for a cleaner and more interface. Thank you for your time and the continual improvements you make to SuperWhisper. I look forward to seeing what features you introduce next.
