Feature request: Speaker names and timestamps in CLI/MCP transcript exports
I use Superwhisper for meeting transcription and its CLI/MCP server to bring transcripts into my meeting-notes workflow.
The meeting UI displays speaker names and timestamps, but superwhisper read --raw, read --json, and the MCP read_recording response don’t expose that structured data. We found the speaker mappings and timed segments in the recording’s meta.json and successfully generated an export from those.
Could you expose this through both the CLI and MCP? Ideally:
Structured segments with speaker ID/name, start/end timestamps, and text.
A readable Markdown or text export with speaker names and elapsed timestamps.
This would let automated workflows preserve who said what and when without reading internal recording files. It’s particularly useful for checking decisions and attributing action items accurately.
