Auto Send on Finish
Currently I have to hold the SHIFT key to auto send. I would like to have an option to make that the default behavior instead.

What would be even better is if it sent the text in the context of where I recorded it. For example, if I had my cursor in a text input in a particular app and I recorded it, then finished recording, I should be able to switch to another app. While the processing is completed, it could inject the text into the earlier app and send it for me without me having to currently be focused on that app. But that's probably more complicated.

Yes, I agree. Having been using dictation frequently throughout the day, I don't want to sit there holding down the Shift key for 30 seconds, waiting for the processing to finish. It's actually more effort to hold down the Shift key than it is to just wait for the processing and then hit Enter.

Not sure how open source it is but I would contribute code for this feature
Yep! Please!! Let me either enable this behavior by default or assign a key to it (instead of shift)
