Ability to change Input device on a per-mode basis

I am having a hard time getting the "Capture System Audio" to work perfectly, so for fine-tuned recordings, I'm using Audio HiJack along with Loopback to create a custom audio device that I use in Teams for it's output that then goes into Audio HiJack to combine a copy of my microphone and the teams output into a virtual microphone for SuperWhisper to save on demand and then transcribe the audio of the entire call. I only need to do this on certain occasions and would like the default audio device to remain my microphone. If I could set a preferred input device on a per-mode basis, with the option to use the app's default setting by default, that would be amazing.
